Professor Heinrich Hußmann verstorben

Völlig unerwartet ist am 23.5.22 unser lieber Kollege Heinrich Hussmann an den Folgen eines schweren Herzinfarktes verstorben. Als Gründer der Medieninformatik an der LMU ist er uns allen ein Vorbild und eine Inspiration. Als Kollege, Lehrer, Mentor und Freund war er jederzeit für uns da, und er hinterlässt eine nicht zu füllende Lücke.
Unsere Gedanken sind bei seiner Familie, und trotz aller Fassungslosigkeit tun wir das, was ihm vermutlich am wichtigsten gewesen wäre, indem wir den Fortgang aller Lehrveranstaltungen und sonstigen Aktivitäten in der Gruppe sicherstellen.

Professor Heinrich Hussmann passed away
Unexpectedly, our dear colleague Heinrich Hussmann has passed away on May 23rd, 2022 as a result of a severe heart attack. As the founder of Media Informatics at LMU, he is a role model and an ispiration to all of us. As a colleague, teacher, mentor and friend, he always had an open ear, and he leaves a gap which can't be filled.
Our thoughts are with his family, and in spite of all consternation, we do what would have been his highest priority, by ensuring the continuation of all teaching and other activities in our group.
